Vintage Meteorological Flow Velocity Measuring Instrument
Marked Wilh. Lambrecht Gottingen and looks to have been originally sold by Herga & co. (FJ Bright & Sons) 181 Edward st Brisbane.
This is just a random interesting thing I?ve collected over the years (as a self-confessed hoarder) but have never known exactly what it was for. I?m guessing it could be for measuring wind speed but could also be for water or gas? Not sure. Have been told by someone that it?s used for flow velocity testing in ventilation systems.
Selling cheap as an interesting display piece but would probably be worth a lot more to the right person that can use it for its proper purpose.
