Grandfather floor clock. Works really well. Two pull weights to set chimes. With all grandfather clocks, once you move them you will need to make sure it is level so the pendulum swings evenly to keep the correct time.
I love it, I just don't have space for it anymore. It should fit in the back of a station wagon, on roof racks with something to protect it from the straps, or in a trailer.
Vintage Meteorological Flow Velocity Measuring Instrument
Marked Wilh. Lambrecht Gottingen and looks to have been originally sold by Herga & co. (FJ Bright & Sons) 181 Edward st Brisbane.
This is just a random interesting thing I've collected over the years (as a self-confessed hoarder) but have never known exactly what it was for. I'm guessing it could be for measuring wind speed but could also be for water or gas? Not sure. Have been told by someone that it's used for flow velocity testing in ventilation systems.
Selling cheap as an interesting display piece but would probably be worth a lot more to the right person that can use it for its proper purpose.
Retro Vintage 8 Track Stereo System
1970s model HRC5020 Hanimex 8 track stereo cartridge tape player with AM/FM multiplex receiver and old-school flip type digital clock. Made in Japan- classic 70s space age styling with wild orange body colour.
Body has a few areas that have chipped corners or cracks due to years of wear and tear.
Not working- would be good for someone wanting as a display piece or a restoration project. Would be worth much more if restored as these are getting rare to find.
A great retro vintage collectable.
Vintage PA Valve Amp
1960?s AWA model PA1003Z valve amplifier. 25watt made in Australia by Amalgamated Wireless Australasia (Sydney)
Approx dimensions are- 440mm long, 235mm tall, 270mm deep and weighs around 13kg.
Have not used in several years but was working last time used. Have decided to de-clutter so pulled it out to sell. No longer have the correct cables or connections to be able to plug anything into it to fully test but did plug it into power the other day and it all still lights up and hisses when you turn the volume knobs. There?s a good chance its still working fine but can?t be 100% sure. Have priced it assuming that it will probably need some cleaning/servicing.
If you?ve got an old mic and speaker with the correct connectors- you?re welcome to come around and test it for yourself before buying.
I Use to run a record player through this amp and it sounded great. Have also used it for guitar and it had excellent power and punch.
Great vintage collectors item, get in while it lasts as these are getting harder and harder to find.
